

Obituary of Dale Lockwood
Mr. Lockwood was a member of St. Gabriel Church in Concord. He enjoyed antique cars, fishing and home improvements. He had a gift for being able to troubleshoot a problem and then fixing it. A 1962 graduate of Shaw High School, he was a star athlete, and passed up scholarship opportunities to West Point and Lehigh University to enlist in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. Upon being honorable discharged, he began his career as a Tool & Die Maker, working at Bailey Meter for 15 years, Precision Die Master, Sajar Corporation and currently at Astro Model Development in Eastlake. Mr. Lockwood also owned his own company, Lockwood Machine. He also earned his State of Ohio Teaching Certificate and had taught at Auburn Career Center for several years.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, whom he married July 24, 1971 in Mentor, Ohio; Children Christopher M. of Concord and Jennifer L. Lockwood of Columbus, Ohio; Brother Ralph G. Lockwood of Columbus, Ohio and Niece Megan Lockwood of Phoenix, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Violet Lockwood.
