Obituary of Roy Robert Potter

Mr. Roy Robert "Ray" Potter age 82 of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on January 27, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1940 in Jack Horn, Kentucky to Patrick Jefferson Potter and Ica Hall Potter. He had made his home in Painesville, Ohio for a number of years, and had made his home in Milledgeville for the past 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army,a Welder and a member of the Church of God. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura Adams Potter; grandson, Dennis Murnyack II; siblings, James Potter, Ellis Potter, Melvin Potter; and Christine Fox.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy (Bill) Rose of North Ft. Myers, Fl and Julia (Dennis) Murnyack of Cincinatti, Ohio; son, David (Debbie) Potter of Painesville, Ohio; grandsons, Steve Smith and  Adam and Bruce Murnyack; siblings, Shirley Hudson, Ima Crabtree and Kenneth Potter all of  Berea, KY

Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 11:00AM untill Noon at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 440077.  A  funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville Ohio.
