Obituary of Flossie Jean Drake
Flossie Jean "Jeannie" Drake, age 95 of Painesville, died on December 23, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1927 to the late William and Flossie (nee: Davis) Campbell in Painesville. Jeannie enjoyed going to BINGO, watching baseball, and baking. She was known for her homemade bread and also her chicken noodle soup and cabbage rolls.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (Karen) Drake, Gary Drake, Pamela (Bill Easton) Roush, Diana (Danny) Roush, Timothy Drake, and Honey Sue (Bob) Day; 17 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Linda Poole; great grandson, Aiden Lee; and siblings, Kenneth Campbell, Jim Campbell, Billy Campbell, Ruby Metzler, and Treva Rohrbaugh.
Private family services will be held with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville, Ohio.
