Obituary of Clarence James Pierce
Clarence J. Pierce, Sr., age 87 of Painesville, died on November 30, 2022. Clarence was born on June 6, 1935 in Painesville to the late Frank and Emma (nee: Doeberimer) Pierce. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. Clarence worked as a machinist for Coe Mfg. and Upson Mfg. He enjoyed being out on the boat and fishing.
He is survived by his sons; George (Bonnie), Leroy (Debbie), and Mike (Kim); Grandchildren; George Jr., James, Bonnie, Alisha, Matt, Thomas, Leroy Jr., Sarabeth, Mitchel, Clarence, Samantha, Philip, and Michael. Many great grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Nicholson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia, sons, Mark and Clarence, Jr.; siblings, Art, Bob, Nettie Francis, Ethel Wayner, Esther Hood, Helen Seckman, and Betty Lohr.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on Thursday December 8, 2022 at 10:45 am at The Chapel of Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
