Obituary of Patricia A. Jacobs-Dorrell

PATRICIA A. JACOBS-DORRELL (nee Dugach) left earth to go to heaven on October 21, 2022. She was born August 21, 1940, the daughter of Anton (Tony) and Anne Dugach. Pat spent 50+ years in the insurance industry handling Fortune 1000 clients. She retired from Jackson, Dieken & Associates as Senior Vice President on December 31, 2017. Pat was an avid golfer and met her husband Roy when they were introduced by their golfing friends in 2000. They were married on May 6, 2006.

Roy passed in 2008 and Pat remained in her lovely home in Mentor, Ohio, across from her dear friends, Dolores and Alan Stansfield. In November of 2021, Pat decided to move to Discovery Village in Naples, Florida where she spent many enjoyable moments in and out of her apartment with her many new friends and being close to her brother Fred and his Fiancé’ Donna Huddle, cousins Linda and Ray Vermillion, and her stepson, Eric Dorrell and his wife Pamela Dorrell.

Surviving Pat are her daughter, Jacqueline Walbeck, Granddaughters, Dionna Therese and Stephany Ann, Brother Frederick, Nephew Steven Dugach (Lisa), Niece Emily Dugach, great nephew Alex Dugach and great niece, Allie Dugach, stepchildren, Eric Dorrell (Pam), Laura Farren (Grieg), Ross Dorrell, step-granddaughter Emily Catherine Dorrell (Matt).

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 4-6PM with a memorial service at 6:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077.  Rev. Tom Cofer, Pastor of First Church Congregational will preside.
