Obituary of Sandra Ann Guthleben

Sandra Ann Guthleben, age 74 of Painesville Twp., passed away September 22, 2022 at UH Lake West Hospital.  She was born April 6, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Virginia (Carter) Walter.  

Sandy was a member of Fairport Harbor Senior Center where she taught a card making class. and crafts and enjoyed woodworking. She enjoyed her monthly get togethers with her "craft group" and spending time with her grandkids. And of course making her famous pudding shots!  She was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Sandy enjoyed spending time with her Beta Sigma Phi Social Serority sisters.  She and her husband Joel enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and their stays at Excalibur Resort.  

Sandy is survived by her husband Joel, whom she married February 22, 1969 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Dayton, Ohio; her children Megyn (Adam) Fait and Nathan Guthleben; grandchildren Bailey (Kelly) Fait and Dylan (finacee Jo Del Col) and her brother Steve (Lois) Walter.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27th from 2-4 p.m. &  6-8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Church, 242 N. State Street, Painesville, Ohio.
