Obituary of Barbara Ann McCormack

Barbara Ann McCormack, age 82 of of Leroy Twp., died on July 4, 2022 at her home.  She was born on October 5, 1939 in Pontiac, MI to the late Jack and Alberta (nee: Simmons) Stinson.  Barbara was active in the Leroy Youth Club.  She also enjoyed gardening, antiquing, fishing, traveling to Canada with her family and friends, and playing board games with her grandchildren.  Barbara worked at the Cleveland Clinic before finishing her career with the Chardon Post office, where she worked for 20 years.  

Barbara is survived by her husband, Leonard, whom she married on August 22, 1959 at Euclid Church of the Epiphany; her children, Tracey (Bob) Glaettli, Tim McCormack, and Brad (Lisa) McCormack; grandchildren, Adam (Abbey) and James Glaettli, and Riley and Reagan McCormack; great granddaughter,  Presley Glaettli; sister, June Maxwell; and brother, John Stinson.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4-7PM with a Memorial Service following at 7:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077.  Private family burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
