Obituary of James C. Kertcher

James C. Kertcher, age 77 of Perry died on December 5, 2021 at Cardinal Woods in Madison. He was born on February 14, 1944 in Sebring, Fl to the late David and Eileen Kertcher. James enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, and building.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, whom he married on August 20, 1993; brother, Phillip Kertcher; his children, Samantha (Bill) Halsey, James (Shelly) Kertcher, , Jamie (Lee) Lutes, Lisa (Terrence) Burney; grandchildren, Clint Kertcher, James (Lauren) Kertcher, Luke Kertcher, Kayleigh (Rickey) Acosta, William Halsey, Noah Halsey, Michael (Allison) Lutes, Kendra Lutes, Brandon Kertcher, and Zachery Burney.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Kertcher.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 6-8PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. The funeral service will be Friday, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Kalb officiating. Burial will follow in Perry Cemetery.
