Obituary of Ruth B. Kay

Ruth B. (nee: Boepple) Kay, age 95 of Concord Township, died on November 26, 2021 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late Reverend John T. and Matie V. Boepple. Ruth graduated from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She worked for Geauga Community Hospital and Hillcrest Hospital as a medical technologist. She retired in 2003 after 55 years of work. Ruth married Percy Milton Kay on August 28, 1948 in Philadelphia. She was a member of Painesville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children; Suzi Kay of Concord Township and Roy M. (Jane) Kay of Montville Township; grandchildren, Edwin Kay and Ethan Kay; great-grandchildren Ryker and Rayna Kay; and nieces Kathy Williams and Leslie Obert of California. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rolland and her sister-in-law Connie Boepple. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 4:00PM at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
