Obituary of James Edward Livengood

James Edward Livengood age 72 of Painesville Twp., died on September 23, 2021 at Lake West Hospital. He was born on December 6, 1948 in Cleveland. Jim is a U.S. Army veteran. He worked in maintenance at Case Western Reserve University for 36 years and served in the Army National Guard for 28 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the American Bald Eagle Motorcycle Club and Painesville American Legion. He was fond of sunny days and cold beers.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (nee: Cantrell) Livengood; three sons, Jerry (Celeste), Todd (Debora), and James (Hannah); step children, Jennifer Melvin and Michael (Cathleen) Melvin; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Gabe, Lilliana, Landry, Sophia, Nick, Arianna, Cade, Luke, Preston, and Jackson; brother, Jerry (Kathryn) Meinzer; and sister, Linda (Rick Adams) Pliske.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 5:00PM at Stonegait Winery, 4275 Bates Rd., Madison, Ohio 44057. Online condolences at www.johnsonfuneralservices.net
