Obituary of Nancy Hancock

Nancy Jean Hancock, of Concord Twp., died on May 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 11, 1948 in Sharon, PA to the late, Clarence and Eva Fuller. Nancy graduated from Brookfield High School in 1966 and enjoyed organizing her class reunions. Nancy held various part time jobs over the years incuding: Philadelpha Candies, Footprints Christian Bookstore and OfficeMax Call Center. She enjoyed playing Pinochle with the same group of women for over 50 years. Nancy was a member of Koinonia of Lake County and her original weekend was K-12. One of her passions was attending a Morning Glories bible study group. She attended Leroy Community Chappel where she was active serving in many different areas. Some of her hobbies were: playing Scrabble, scrapbooking, Canasta, knitting, and cross stiching. After their retirement she traveled with the love of her life, Don, visiting friends and seeing all of God's beautiful creations. Her greatest joy was raising her three children and spending time with her seven grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 53 and 1/2 years, Don; children, Joyce (Tim) Light, Lisa (Tedo) Sircelj, and Mark (Ashley) Hancock; 7 grandchildren, Rachel Light, Adam (Bryona Dautartas) Sircelj, Ashley Sircelj, Eva, Owen, Grant and Noah Hancock; Antaeus Dautartas and a great granddaughter on the way; and brothers, Phillip (Darlene) Fuller, and Arthur (Willow) Fuller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Horzich. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11:00AM at Leroy Community Chapel, 12920 Painesville Warren Rd., Painesville, Ohio 44077, with burial to follow in Perry Cemetery.
