Dave was the one who got me involved as a substitute keyboard player in the "Remember When" band and concerts. He and I also had regular conversations about Randolph and Napoli NY (he was born in Napoli, I lived there for a year; he went to RCS, I did too and my father, Guy Mathews was a supervising principal there; he remembered Milton Horak (who was my dad's Vice Principal) and other Randolph families we could both relate to, etc. I even got him to add a clarinet part to one of my choir's anthems!
Dave was such a kind, gentleman and I will miss him dearly. (Mary [Mathews] Brown, PUMC church musician)
