Obituary of Marilyn Sue King

Marilyn S. King, a longtime resident of Fairport Harbor, passed away January 2, 2021 at Ashtabula County Medical Center at the age of 75. She was born February 6, 1945 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Gabriel and Mabel (Stevens) Saba. Marilyn graduated from Harvey High School in 1963. She supported her two sons with attending their sporting events and was always available to volunteer at school, athletic and Fairport community events. She loved family gatherings, bowling, and working at the Fairport Beach concession stand in the summers. She retired from Breckenridge Village as a Home Health Aid and worked in retail prior to that at various stores in the area. She is survived by her two sons, Keith (Lisha) of Perry and Rob (Vikki) of Perry, grandchildren Kyle and Leah and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister Rose Krebs of Madison and brother Bud (Linda) Saba of North Carolina. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents as well as sister Kathleen Christian and brothers Jimmy Wagner and Harry Saba. A memorial gathering and service will held at a later date.
