Obituary of Lisa Wilson
Lisa Kay Wilson, age 52 passed away suddenly November 27, 2018 at her home in Mentor. She was born October 10, 1966 in Painesville and was a lifelong Mentor resident.
Lisa was a graduate of Mentor High School and Cleveland State University and a member of First Church, Congregational in Painesville where she was very active as the Music Director for the Joyride service. Music was her life. She was a member of the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra where she played Oboe. She also taught at the Willoughby Fine Arts Center and gave private lessons. She was employed at Ohio Guidestone in Painesville as a Professional Development Coach.
She is survived by her father Ray and stepmother Kay, sisters Cindy (Tom) Smith and Deb (Mike) Marino, Susan (Duane Chornabay) Bratton, brothers Scott Bratton, Michael (Tammy) Bratton, nieces and nephews Kelsey (Brad) Hruska, Justin (Madison) Smith, Erica Bratton, Kristen Bratton and Ryan Bratton.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Sandy (1997); her grandparents and many aunts and uncles; and her brother-in-law.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of First Church, Congregational, 22 Liberty Street, Painesville with Rev. Tom Cofer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
