Obituary of Emogene Allen
Emogene Allen, age 84 of Perry, died on July 10, 2018 at TriPoint Hospital in Concord. She was born on February 17, 1934 to the late Guy and Garnet Wilson.
Emogene worked at IRC Fibers for 22 years, Mag-Nif Toy Factory for 10 years, and retired in 1999 from Mill-Rose Co. She enjoyed gardening and yardwork. She raced in the "Powder Puff Races" in the 1960's. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was affectionately referred to as "Old Lady Who" and was truly the "World's Best Grandma".
Survivors are her children; Susan (Danny) Milkovich of Madison, Deena Pastula of Perry, Carol March of Madison, Reamona (Gary) Scott of MD; grandchildren, Shane and David Brown, Amber, Autumn, and Miranda Scott, Donnie (Jeannette) and Ricky Snyder, Kristy (Chris) Sammet, Samantha and Dale March; great grandchildren, Allie and Slade; son-in-law, Dave Brown of Madison; daughter-in-law, Thelma Bartolomeo of Girard; and sister-in-law, Linda Wilson of Painesville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Denver" Allen; son, Donnie Snyder; daughter, Cynthia Brown; sister, Carolyn (Frank) Pierce; and brothers, Sherwood Wilson, Homer (Gladys) Winters, and Buck (Pansy) Wilson.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10AM – 12PM with a funeral service following at noon at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
