Obituary of Paul Booher
Paul R. Booher, Jr., age 73 passed away June 25, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born October 27, 1944 in Painesville to the late Paul R. Sr. and Georgia (Sheterom) Booher. He was a lifelong Painesville resident.
Paul was an avid Cleveland sports fan and prided himself on being an amateur meteorologist. He was very active with the Harvey Red Raider Booster Club and coaching baseball on various levels, both at the high school and summer leagues. He was owner of American Automated Machine Care and had previously been employed with General Electric both in Mentor and Cleveland.
He served in the U.S. Navy on a Repair Ship during the Vietnam War.
Paul is survived by his wife Patricia (Doeing) Booher whom he married on April 12, 1975; sons Matt (Melanie) of Cincinnati, Adam (Sara) of Mentor and Aaron (April) of Lyndhurst; grandchildren McKenna, Madilynn, Matheson, Jack, Abigail and Alexandra. He also leaves his sister Nancy Amos.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Paula Crawford.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville. A memorial service will follow at Noon. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
