Obituary of John Paramore
John Ashley Paramore, age 81 of Painesville, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. He was born April 4, 1937 to Major and Czerda Paramore in Greenville, N.C.
John retired from Radix Wire Co. after 33 years of service but is best known and loved for his mechanical genius and willingness to help folks in need. He truly believed that everyone needs and deserves a friend and modeled that to all who know and love him.
Survivors include the love of his life, his bride of nearly 64 years, Helen Paramore; his children Diane Durst (Art), Johnny Paramore (Rita), Debi Visor (Ray), Ronnie Paramore (Joan Zalar), Jeff Paramore (Rhoda); grandchildren, Sergeant Major Matthew Pizzi, Amy Panebianco, Rob Durst, Brandon Phillips, Heather Reynolds, Kari Plesnicar, Wesley Paramore, Ali Cruise, Jacob Visor, Seth Visor, Sarah Pittsinger, Drew Paramore, Amie Kendrick, Davin Paramore, Kailee Paramore, Colby Paramore; 26 great grandchildren; his sister Jean Hudson, as well as many dearly loved nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws: and lifelong friend Kenneth Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bernice, Ernest Dowell, Joe: sisters Audrey Wilcox, Pauline Whitley; great grandson Les Cruise.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
