Obituary of Richard Rogers
Richard E. Rogers, age 78 of Painesville, died on May 30, 2018. He was born on September 28, 1939 in Cleveland to the late William and Marguerite (Nantell) Rogers.
Richard was a graduate of Shaw High School and retired from TRW and had previously worked at Bailey Meter Company in Cleveland. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 2400. Richard was a member of the Painesville Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #549, Painesville American Legion Post 336, Moose Lodge #490, Slovenian Club, Hungarian Club, and Eagles. He enjoyed shooting pole, fishing, and primitive camping.
Survivors are his daughters, Shannon (Dan) Anderson of Willoughby, Marguerite Rogers of Painesville, Kathleen Rogers of Cleveland; step children, Penelope (Mark) Brandon of Coos Bay, OR, Timothy Arp of Painesville, and Sean (Karen) Arp of Euclid; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, John Rogers of Ashtabula; sister, Jane Rogers of Euclid.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patricia (Paul) Rogers; and sister, Charity DiCello
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 2-4PM with a service following at 4:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077.
