Obituary of Margaret Yurista Imes
Margaret Yurista Imes, 99, formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio passed peacefully on May 5, 2018. She has been a resident of Haven Home Assisted Living in Mentor, Ohio since May 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy C. Imes, her parents, Michael and Anna (Hudak) Yurista, her infant son, David, her four sisters, Anna Kropusek, Mary Jacobs, Sue Schell, Helen Coffman and her two brothers John Yurista and infant Michael Yurista. She is survived by her son, Charles (Carol Wiewandt) and her grandchildren Jennifer Coslin (Tracey), Christopher (Dawn Christensen) and Nicole Scott (Ryan) as well as her great-grandchildren (TJ Coslin and McKenna Scott).
During her working career which spanned over six decades she was employed by: Ohio Public Service, Young & Shades, Young's Floor Covering, Black's Machine Shop, and Gerner and Wolf Funeral Home.
She enjoyed gardening and was a Past-President of the Four Seasons Garden Club. She spent much of her spare time reading and creating craft items which she would give as gifts. Margaret was an excellent cook and a phenomenal baker.
The family would like to thank the staff of Haven Home Assisted Living and her Hospice nurse, Tim Campbell, for everything they did to make Margaret's final years and death comfortable.
Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, Painesville from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 22. The funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio with interment at Riverview Cemetery on May 23 at 11:00 a.m. with the family greeting friends starting at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a celebration of Margaret's life after the funeral and burial at the Knight's of Columbus Hall, 109 East Perry Street, Port Clinton.
