Johnnie Mae Richardson, age 94 died on January 22, 2018 at her home in Painesville. She was born on January 1, 1924 in Shelby County, AL. to Mose and Lucy Cook.
She married Albert Richardson on July 16, 1955.
She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Willie Mae (Joseph Roach) Baker, Painesville; and Joyce (Jerome) Kyser, Simpsonville, SC, four grandchildren, Rayshawn (Jennifer) Baker, Dover, OH; Andre (Stacey Lester) Baker, Jeremy (Mari) Kyser, and Jerritta (Chris) Coleman all of Painesville, OH; nine great grandchildren; brother Mose Cook, Milwaukee, WS; one great great grandson; a special great niece, Alicia Campbell; nephews, Carl Cook, John Irvin, all of Painesville, OH, Mark Stevens and Sam Cook of Cleveland OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many people she adopted as her children young and old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Richardson; parents Mose and Lucy Cook; sisters Rosetta Young, Mamie Hudson, Lucy Pearl Cook, Ernestine Campbell, and Lois Cook.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11:00AM until the service at noon at New Hope Baptist Church, 428 W. Jackson St., Painesville, Ohio 44077. Burial will follow in Western Reserve Memorial Garden.
